As a fourth year intern at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, I am almost there – close to my goal of becoming a Naturopathic Doctor! I am passionate about health and wellness and the Principles of Naturopathic Medicine. I believe everyone can benefit from naturopathic medicine and deserves to embrace and enjoy their health. In May 2012, I started my full year clinical internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic (RSNC) and am loving this chapter of my life’s recipe book!
I have a special interest in working with patients living with or recovering from cancer, and am seeing patients on the Adjunctive Cancer Care Focus shift during my clinical year. I also have a strong interest in working with children on the Autism Spectrum. However, I am interested in seeing all patients with any concerns and believe a holistic approach to healthcare is the true path to wellness.
I am a graduate of Trent University, where I completed an Honours degree in Forensic Science. There, I found my interest and passion for medicine – and eventually found the world of naturopathy.
I also love to eat great food, get outside and travel the world! My recipe for health is just like the Life is Good motto – “Do what you love, and love what you do!”
